HILLSBORO, Ore. – Three Whitworth University lacrosse players made the 2026 All-Northwest Conference team, as announced last week by the NWC office.
Campbell Vincent (Jr., A) and Nikki Beers (Sr., D) claimed first team recognition, while Mary Penfield (Sr., D) garnered second team honors.
Vincent led the league in goals scored with 75, and goals per game (4.41). The goal total broke her own single-season school record. Vincent was fourth in the NWC in total points (101) and points per game (5.94). Her point total was also a single-season record for the Pirates. Vincent set single game marks this year for goals (9) and points (12) in a 21-1 win over Puget Sound.
As she had throughout her Whitworth career, Beers switched between defense and midfield throughout the season. She overcame early season injuries to start all eight of the Pirates conference games. She had 22 draw controls, seven ground balls and six caused turnovers to go along with seven goals and seven assists.
Penfield finished off her third season as a key member of Whitworth's defense. She started 16 of the team's 17 games this season and posted career-highs for caused turnovers (14) and ground balls (16). She scored her first career goal in the game vs. Puget Sound.
Whitworth finished the season 8-9 overall and 4-4 in the NWC.
