HILLSBORO, Ore. – Whitworth men's tennis was represented by four players and head coach Daniel Redfern on the 2026 men's tennis All-Northwest Conference list.
Redfern, who is in his third season at the helm, was named Coach of the Year after leading the Bucs to an 11-3 NWC record (12-6 overall) and their first NWC Tournament appearance since 2016.
The four players who earned recognition were Henry Preacher, Matthew Morrison, Ryan Ashley and Connor Judson.
Preacher, a senior from Yakima, Washington, earned second team singles and second team doubles recognition. He had a 10-4 NWC singles record, mostly played from the No. 2 court.
Morrison, a sophomore from Richland, Washington, also earned second team singles recognition. His NWC record was 5-7 at the No. 1 position.
Ashley, a sophomore from Helena, Montana, was named second team doubles alongside Preacher and named to the singles third team. The duo had a 5-6 NWC record on the top doubles court, and he held a 9-5 NWC singles record primarily from the No. 3 position.
Judson had a standout season in his first season as a Pirate from Hayden, Idaho. He earned third team singles honors after a 13-1 conference record played at the No. 4 court.
