HILLSBORO, Ore. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches has named Stephen Behil as a first team All-District 10 honoree.
Behil had a breakout senior season. The 6-6 wing from Camas, Washington led the team in scoring average at 17.1 ppg while making 47% of his field goals. He also finished third in the Northwest Conference, and second on the team, in rebounds per game (7.3). Behil finished sixth in the NWC in three-pointers made per game (2.4) and was ninth in three-point percentage (36.8). Behil was selected as a first team All-NWC honoree.
He was a big reason the Pirates won the NWC regular season title and the league's conference tournament. Whitworth finished 22-6 after falling in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
