SPOKANE, Wash. – Friday's significant snow event in the Inland Northwest has caused a postponement in this weekend's Northwest Conference softball series between visiting George Fox University and Whitworth. 

The doubleheader scheduled for Saturday at noon has been changed to Monday, beginning at 9:30 am.  Sunday's doubleheader will go on as originally set at 11:00 am.

A storm dropped three inches of snow overnight Thursday into Friday afternoon, covering Diana Marks Field.  With temperatures expected to warm, the hope is that the snow will melt on Saturday in time for Sunday's games.
