ORLANDO, Fla. – Whitworth men's tennis dropped its second match in Orlando with a narrow 5-4 loss to Augustana.

The Pirates (3-9, 2-2 NWC) took one of three doubles matches before splitting the singles matches. The #3 duo of Colby Cinqmars and Jess Weaver got their second win of the trip together knocking off Tomas Jiminez and Aingeru Garcia 8-6.

Matt Froslan (#6) kicked off singles with a win over Arturo Asensio 6-0, 6-4. Ethan Warring won the #3 match 6-3, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) over Saman Rezaeyan. Henry Preacher also came through with a win over Nicolas Navarro 7-5, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) to give the Pirates their fourth tally, but they couldn't find that fifth win.

The Pirates return tomorrow against DePauw at 12:30 eastern time.
