Whitworth University

Abigail Wells is in her first season as assistant coach for the Pirate volleyball team in 2026. She came to Whitworth from Calvin University her sophomore year and played for the Bucs for four years. She was a two-time undefeated NWC champion. Wells graduated from Stillwater Christian School in Kalispell, Montana where she was a state champion for both volleyball and basketball and two-time first team all conference player. During her time at Whitworth she earned a B.A. in graphic design and a Master's in business leadership.

Wells' mom, Samantha Hudson, has passed away but she played for Samford University’s softball program in 1991—at the time was one of the first Div. I women's softball programs. Her father's name is John Hudson.
