Lisa Faucette moves from the role of volunteer assistant coach to primary assistant coach for the women's basketball team for the 2024-25 season. She was a volunteer assistant for the Pirates during the 2023-24 campaign.
Faucette previously worked as an administrative assistant at Seattle Pacific University, her alma mater, from 2014-16 where she managed facilities, served as a ticket coordinator and helped with athletic team scheduling. She was on the Falcons' women's basketball team from 2006-09. As a player, Faucette helped lead the Falcons to the NCAA DII Tournament in each of her seasons at SPU, including a 29-1 record in 2007-08, a 21-5 record in 2008-09, and a No. 1 national ranking through multiple seasons.
Faucette's mom, Kate, and dad, Ned, both played basketball and golf at Whitworth in the 1970s. A native of Lewiston, Idaho, Faucette and her husband Rob live in Spokane and have two children - Taya and Malachi.
