Whitworth University

Kaiti joined the Whitworth coaching staff in 2025-26 after five years of coaching varsity basketball at Asotin High School. Whitmore spent three seasons as the Asotin head coach and led the team to its highest win total in seven seasons. She also coached high school volleyball and tennis locally. 

Whitmore was born and raised in Spokane Valley and graduated from University High School in 2016. As a player, she was a four-year letter winner in volleyball and basketball, earned first-team All-Greater Spokane League honors and is a member of the University High School Hall of Fame. Whitmore committed to Whitworth to play basketball before an injury ended her playing career. 

Kaiti is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in education in literacy, reading, and writing. She has been married to Dirk Whitmore for four years.
