Riley Smith joins the Whitworth University men's basketball coaching staff for the 2025-26 season. Smith spent the previous 4 seasons as an assistant coach at Lewis & Clark High School. 

Smith graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science/Law Societies & Justice. During his undergrad, Smith served 3 years as a student manager for Chris Petersen and the Huskies football program. Smith had a successful prep career as a two-time All-GSL point guard at North Central High School.
