Reed Brown is in his first season as an assistant coach at Whitworth in 2021-22 after a four-year playing career for the Pirates. Brown earned four letters between 2018 and 2021, while playing in 74 games. He scored a career-high 12 points in a win over Puget Sound on January 4, 2020.
Following his graduation in 2021, Brown spent a year as a professional accountant.
Coach Jablinski says, "As a player, it was always evident that Reed had a high basketball IQ and was a great communicator. I am so excited to have him join our coaching staff. It is always great to have a former Whitworth player on staff because they understand what it takes to win and are already deeply invested in the values and traditions of our program. I know that he will be a tremendous asset as an assistant coach."
