Experience - 
HS: Pierson was a record-breaking running back at Prairie HS, setting the records for most yards rushing and yards from scrimmage in one game (338), most touchdowns (4) and most points in a game (26).  He earned first team All-Greatr Saint Helens League (3A) as a senior.  He was also a two-time All-Greater Saint Helens League linebacker.  In addition to winning the team's sportsmanship award, he was a school valedictorian.
