Parker Shaw enters his first year of coaching after a five-year playing career with the Pirates from 2017-2021. Shaw joined the coaching staff as a volunteer in the spring of 2021 and returns as a part-time defensive back’s assistant, coaching safeties.

As a safety, he finished his career with 3 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles. Shaw was also a member of the 2018 NWC championship team and saw significant time on multiple special teams units and as a safety throughout his career.  

Shaw earned the 2021 Whitworth Football Team Player of the Year award upon completion of his 5^th year as voted on by the players and coaches.
