Whitworth University

Bryce Hornbeck joined the Whitworth staff in the fall of 2023 as the Pirates’ cornerbacks coach and a graduate assistant.

Hornbeck is returning to Whitworth from Sedro-Woolley High School, where he was an assistant coach for wide receivers and led the strength & conditioning program. Sedro-Woolley made the quarterfinals of the WIAA 2A state playoffs in Hornbeck’s lone season with the Cubs, finishing 8-3.

Hornbeck is a Sedro-Woolley native who attended college at Whitworth University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2022. Hornbeck was a three-year starter for the Pirates and voted a team captain for his senior year in 2021.
