Sam Wallat is Whitworth cheer's head coach. Prior to becoming head coach, Sam served as Whitworth cheer's assistant coach. Sam was a member of the Whitworth cheerleading team from 2015-2016, 2017-2020. Sam cheered alongside program director, Haley Elkin, from 2017-2020. Sam attended Whitworth and Eastern Washington University for undergrad & graduated with her Master's degree in Business Leadership from Whitworth. Throughout her college experience, Sam was part of cheer teams in the Spokane area as well as a dancer on the Spokane Shock Dance Team in 2020 & 2021-2022. In addition to coaching the Whitworth cheerleading team, Sam is currently working as a shop manager for Dutch Bros Spokane.
