Experience -
2017: Ian will serve as one of four team captains in 2017.  He was selected as a second team preseason All-American by Hero Sports.
2016: Ian He led all of NCAA Division III in pass completions per game (35.1), passing yards (3,790) and passing yards per game (379.0).  Kolste set Whitworth team records for pass attempts, pass completions, completion percentage (71.9), passing yards, total offense (3,831) and he tied a team record for touchdown passes (29).   He earned first team All-Northwest Conference and second team All-West Region by D3football.com.
2015: Ian had a strong first full season as a starter, completing over 60% (269-438) of his passes for 2,810 yards with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.  He averaged 271 yards of total offense per game.
2014: Ian was injured in the Pirates' second game of the year and was granted a medical hardship waiver.
2013: Ian threw for 567 yards and five touchdowns in four games, including two starts, as a freshman QB.
HS: Ian earned all-league honors as a junior and a senior at Oak Harbor.
