Jr: Sam played in all 27 games off the bench for the Pirates, averaging 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest.
So: Sam averaged 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds while appearing in all 28 games as a sophomore.  He had one start.
Fr: Sam played in 13 games in his first season at Whitworth.
HS: Sam averaged 17.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 3.2 steals per game for the Cantebury Rams club team while leading his squad to the national U19 tournament.  He also led Middleton Grange School to a 35-2 record and New Zealand's Secondary School national tournament in 2015, where they finished in 5th place.
