Whitworth women's tennis had seven student-athletes honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) earlier this week for excellence in the classroom. Those seven Bucs earned scholar-athlete recognition, leading the way for a team All-Academic honor.

Josie Kellogg, Paige Oliver, Hannah Wells, Olivia Corbett, Clara Todd, Audrey Judson and Faith Kert represented the Pirates on the list. To be recognized as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the current academic year.

Teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher to be named an All-Academic Team. The Bucs' cumulative team GPA was

Kellogg, a first-year biology major from Spokane, earned the honor in her first season as a Pirate. Kellogg was named the 2026 NWC Rookie of the Year after going an undefeated 14-0 in conference singles matches. She finished the season with a 16-5 overall singles record and 7-0 doubles record.

Oliver, a junior marketing major from Woodway, Washington, earned first team singles and third team doubles All-NWC honors this season. She finished the season with an 11-11 overall singles record and 10-4 NWC record, all from the No. 1 position. Oliver was 10-10 overall on the No. 2 doubles court.

Wells, a sophomore communications major from Snohomish, Washington, competed in nine singles matches and finished with a 4-5 overall record. 

Corbett, the Pirates' senior leader from Pendleton, Oregon, finished the season with an 8-4 overall singles record and dominated the No. 3 doubles court (17-2 record) alongside Judson. Corbett graduated with a degree in business management.

Todd, a junior biochemistry major from Polson, Montana, made her mark on the No. 1 doubles court this season with Kert. The pair finished with a 10-10 overall doubles record and 8-4 NWC mark, earning second team All-NWC doubles.

Judson, a junior health science major from Hayden, Idaho, earned third team All-NWC singles honors after a dominant 13-1 conference record primarily from the No. 4 position. Judson was 19-2 overall from the No. 3 doubles court.

Kert, sophomore elementary education major from Cashmere, Washington, followed her 2025 NWC Rookie of the Year campaign with first team singles and second team doubles all-conference honors. She finished the season with a 15-5 record on the No. 2 singles court and 11-10 record in doubles. 

The Pirate women finished the 2026 season 15-7 overall and 12-2 in conference play, making their fifth NWC Tournament appearance in the last six years. Whitworth finished second in both the regular season standings and in the NWC Tournament. The Bucs will be back in action this fall at the ITA regional tournament in preparation for another run at a conference title.
