SPOKANE, Wash. – Kendel Sage and Camryn Sage have represented Whitworth with inclusion on the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Academic All-District softball team, according to the list selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The CSC Academic All-District softball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through their last full academic term and must be a starter or key reserve on the team.

Kendel and Camryn, both sophomores from Snohomish, Washington, each carried 4.0 GPAs into this spring and were major contributors for the Bucs this season.

Kendel, a business management major, started all 39 games in center field for the second season in a row. She led the team in hits (42), led in runs scored (42), and was second in batting average (.339) from the leadoff spot.

Camryn, a business marketing major, started 38 games at first base after playing left field last season. She hit .237 with 11 runs, 23 hits, and four doubles. At her new primary position, she finished the season with a .971 fielding percentage.

The Pirates finished with an 11-28 overall record and 9-19 mark in Northwest Conference play under first-year head coach Bill Baber.
