KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Whitworth women's golf team prepped for the upcoming Northwest Conference tournament with a dual match against Whitman College on Saturday at Columbia Point Golf Course and the Blues defeated the Pirates 303-312.

Samantha Torres shot a 71 to lead the way for Whitman.

Erin Pierce led Whitworth with a career-best score of 75.  Stella Fergin shot 76 and Ashley Maki posted a 78.  Caroline Rose and Rosalind Nordberg each rounded out the top-five for the Bucs with a pair of 83's. 

The 2026 NWC Tournament will take place on April 18-19 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon.  The Pirates go into the tournament in second place in the conference standings behind George Fox.
