SPOKANE, Wash. – Whitworth University will move Saturday's baseball doubleheader against Lewis & Clark College to Gonzaga's Steve Hertz Field at the Patterson Baseball Complex due to unplayable conditions at Merkel Field.

Saturday's first pitch will be at 4:30 pm for the opener.  The second game will start at approximately 7:30 pm. 

A storm dropped three inches of snow overnight Thursday into Friday afternoon, covering Merkel Field.  With temperatures expected to warm, the hope is that the snow will melt on Saturday in time for Sunday's game.
