MINNEAPOLIS – A pair of Whitworth Pirates have been named to the 2025 D3football.com All-Region 6 team, according to the list released today by the online publication.
Iden Bone and Omari Williams each claimed second team recognition for Region 6, which is comprised of schools from the Northwest Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletics Conference, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics Conference, Upper Midwest Athletics Conference and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference.
The team is selected in balloting by Region 6 sports information directors and D3football.com staff. Players selected for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced Dec. 22, 2025.
Bone, a junior from Moses Lake, earned recognition as a place kicker. He finished the season as the Northwest Conference's leading scorer in overall points (82) and points per game (7.5). He made 16 of 19 field goal attempts and all 34 of his extra points. Bone ranked second in NCAA Div. III in field goals per game and top ten in field goal percentage (.842). He set the school record for most field goals made in a season, breaking the previous record of 15 set in 2015.
Williams, a junior from Seattle, claimed second team recognition as a corner back. He led the Northwest Conference in total passes defended (11) which included nine breakups and two interceptions. He finished with 50 tackles
The pair of Whitworth players were part of a team that won the NWC crown and participated in the NCAA Division III playoffs for the third year in a row. The Pirates finished 8-3.
