BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Solo Hines finished 10th in the preliminaries of the men's 60-meter dash on Friday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Hines posted a time of 7.86 at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Only the top eight times advanced to Saturday's championship final.
Hines was not able to replicate his school-record time of 6.71, which is the fifth-fastest time in NCAA Division III history. Hines hit that mark on January 28th at the Inland Northwest Invitational in Spokane.
Hines made his second trip to the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.
