WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Cabriella Coprivnicar had two goals and an assist while Ireland Eaton scored twice to lead visiting Whitworth to 4-2 win at Whitman on Wednesday evening.

The Pirates (8-5-2 overall, 5-4-2 NWC) swept the season series against the Blues (1-12, 1-10). 

Whitman took the lead in the 18^th minute when Chaney Heinbaugh scored her third goal of the season.  Ireland was able to tie the match before halftime in the 40^th minute, unassisted.

Coprivnicar scored her first of the match in the 60^th minute, then added her second in the 83^rd on an assist by Kalena Pfaeltzer.  Coprivnicar leads the Pirates with seven goals this season.

The Blues got back within one goal in the 86^th minute when Lisa Arrouye converted a penalty kick.

Coprivnicar fed Eaton for the clinching goal in the 88^th minute.  It was Eaton's fourth goal of the season.

Kate Nelson made four saves in goal for Whitworth.  Hanna Lynch stopped two shots for Whitman.

The Pirates return to action on Sunday at Willamette in Salem, Oregon.
