Whitworth University

Opal joined the Whitworth Sports Medicine staff in summer of 2024. She came to Whitworth after receiving her Master’s degree in Athletic Training and her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Idaho. Opal grew up in Tri-Cities, Washington but has spent the last five years in Moscow, Idaho. She has certifications in Mulligan lower quadrant, MYK Lower Body Course, Hawkgrips level 1, RockTape Level 1, TMR Level 1, and Stop the Bleed. In her spare time, she loves to bake, read a cozy mystery, or hike to explore the Spokane area.

Opal’s primary sport responsibilities include Football, Cheerleading, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Men’s and Women’s Golf.
