Whitworth University

Lucas returns to Whitworth as an assistant coach after coaching and teaching in South Carolina for a few years. He will be coaching the high jump and pole vault.

As an athlete, McGill was a 6-time All-Conference honoree as a high jumper and decathlete, taking second place three straight years in the high jump. He was also a captain for the Pirates' track and field TEAM.

Lucas has coached an athlete to the State meet every year he has been a coach, and McGill coached a State Champion in 2018.
