Drew Jordan starts his third year as an assistant track and field and cross-country coach after 6 years as a volunteer assistant. Drew works with the men’s distance runners during cross-country and track.

Drew helped coach Alex Peters to the Indoor School Record in the 3,000 and 5,000 in 2024 and multiple others to All-NWC honors and Whitworth Top 10 Indoor and Outdoor marks. Drew has helped coach over a dozen athletes on the Whitworth men’s cross country and track top 25 list.

Drew graduated from Washington State University in 2015. During his time as WSU, Drew was a four-time letter winner in both track and cross-country. Drew was a two-time cross-country team captain and led his team to numerous top finishes. On the track, Drew was an accomplished middle-distance runner. He holds PR’s of 3:45 in the 1500M and 13:52 in the 5000M.

Drew was a 2010 graduate of North Medford High School in Oregon. While in Medford, Drew won four state titles while leading North Medford to numerous top-four state finishes in both track and cross-country. Drew has recently been inducted into the North Medford athletics Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the track and course.

Drew now resides in Mead with his wife and three children. He enjoys staying competitive by competing in Ironman distance triathlons where he has success by winning Ironman Chattanooga in 2022 and earned numerous other top 3 finishes. Drew qualified to compete in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in 2024.
