Bryce Missey rejoins the Whitworth football staff as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the upcoming 2026 season.
Missey coached at the University of Wyoming as a QB coach and offensive analyst for the 2025 season and also as interim running backs coach int he spring of 2025.Â
Missey was hired as Whitworth's quarterbacks coach for the 2024 season and was soon promoted to offensive coordinator. The Pirates ranked among the top-ten in NCAA Division III in passing yards and passing touchdowns that season and among the top 20 in DIII in total offense and yards -per play.
Missey came to Whitworth from Bethel University (Tenn.) where he served as coach of the running backs for a team that finished 11-2 and reached the NAIA quarterfinals in 2023.
Missey coached two seasons at Pacific Lutheran University, his alma mater, in 2021 and 2022 where he led the quarterbacks and was the transfer recruiting coordinator. In 2022 the Lutes finished second in the Northwest Conference and posted their best record since the 2014 campaign.

MIssey played two seasons for the Lutes, tossing 14 touchdowns. Prior to PLU, Missey played two years at NAIA-member Montana State University-Northern.Â
