The Whitworth men finished in sixth place out of 12 teams, and third of seven among Northwest Conference schools.
Mott ran the eight-kilometer course in 25:44.4 to lead the Pirate men across the line. Colin Monaghan of Puget Sound won the race in 24:45.9.
The final men's team scores were: Southern Oregon 46, Colorado College 59, Lane CC 74, George Fox 143, Lewis & Clark 168, Whitworth 193, Whitman 196, OSU Running Club 199, Pacific Lutheran 212, Puget Sound 254, Clark Coll. 273, Pacific (Ore.) 355.
George was once again the first Pirate woman across the line. She ran the six-kilometer course in 22:32.1. Whitney Rich of Whitman won the race in 21:33.3.
Krystal Roberts ran 23:07.3 to finish in 12th place for the Bucs. Karina Olson (24:02.4) was 44th, Isabelle Snyder (24:45.3) was 71st and Naomi Reyes (25:16.7) finished 83rd. The Pirates finished ninth out of 13 teams, including fifth out of seven NWC schools.

Today's meet was the final tune up before the Pirates compete at the Northwest Conference championships on November 2nd in Tacoma.
