Rachel Aldridge

Rachel Aldridge is entering her 12th year as the head Whitworth's women's tennis coach in 2025-26.  The Pirates have a dual record of 82-85 during her tenure, including a 50-39 mark in Northwest Conference matches.  She has led the Bucs to the NWC tournament seven times.

Aldridge, who graduated from Whitworth in 2011, was a four-year standout player for the Pirates.  She was a four-time first team All-Northwest Conference honoree and was selected as the NWC Sportswomen of the Year in 2010.  As a senior, she was named NWC Player of the Year and received the NCAA West Region Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship Award from the ITA. She spent three years as an assistant coach at Whitworth from 2012-2014 following her playing career. 

Aldridge earned her M.Ed. in school counseling from Whitworth in 2014. In addition to her coaching duties at Whitworth, she has served as an adjunct professor in the Gonzaga University music department from 2011-205 and as an adjunct professor in the Whitworth psychology department since 2014.
