Experience: 
HS: Gabe competed for Chiawana HS, who won the 2018 WIAA 4A state title in track and field. He earned second team All-Mid-Columbia Conference honors for cross country in 2017. He also holds three school records: 3-mile (cross country), distance medley relay and steeplechase (track).
