Roach, a two-time first team All-Northwest Conference selection and the 2018 NWC Player of the Year, garnered all-region recognition for the second year in a row. He was a first team all-region honoree in 2018. The senior wing from Marinwood, California concluded his Pirate career with 1,654 points, the fifth highest total in Whitworth men's basketball history. Roach averaged 18.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game during the 2018-19 season. He scored a season-high 38 points in his final game as a Pirate during the NWC Tournament final at Whitman and he had 35 in the victory over George Fox on February 9th. Roach was an NABC Division III All-American in 2018.
College joined his teammate as a member of the all-region second team and as a first team All-NWC selection in 2019. He led the Pirates, and ranked fourth in the NWC, in scoring average at 19.7 points per game. One of the best shooters in the NWC, College led the league in free throw percentage (92.2), ranked second in three-pointers per game (3.15) and third in three-point percentage (43.1). He ranked fourth in all of NCAA Division III in free throw percentage, setting a new single season school record. College, a junior shooting guard from Portland, also set a school record with 11 three-pointers and established a career-high with 37 points during the Pirates' 104-74 win over D'Youville College on December 8th.
The pair of Pirates are a big reason Whitworth went 21-6 this season, the 14th straight year the Bucs reached the 20-win mark.
