Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. – Bobbi Eckler scored two goals and Hannah Kimsey had a goal and two assists for Concordia University (Ore.) in a 6-0 win over Whitworth in a non-conference women's soccer match on Saturday afternoon.
The Cavaliers, ranked fifth in the NAIA, improved to 3-0-1. The Pirates, playing their first road match of the season, fell to 3-1.
Concordia scored twice in the first half and blew the match open with four goals in the second period. The Cavaliers outshot Whitworth 38-2, including a 16-1 edge in shots on goal.
Andrea Stump, under duress throughout the match, made 10 saves for the Pirates.
Whitworth will have to bounce back quickly as the Pirates open Northwest Conference play on Friday at Whitman.
