SPOKANE, Wash. –Whitworth swimming will video stream this weekend's dual meet against Seattle University. It is the first broadcast of the 2018-19 season for the swimming teams.
The Pirates and Redhawks will face off over two days of competition. The first half of the meet will take place on Friday night at 6:00 pm in the Whitworth Aquatic Center. The teams will complete the dual meet on Saturday, beginning at 11:00 am. Click here for a link to Whitworth's video portal.
As an NCAA Division I program, Seattle will provide Whitworth's toughest competition of the season.
The Pirate men finished the first half of the schedule unbeaten, 4-0 in Northwest Conference dual meets and winners at all three multi-team competitions. Whitworth's women went 3-1 in dual meets and finished second twice and third once at the multi-team events.
Following this weekend's meet with Seattle U, the Pirates will return to NWC competition the rest of the way, beginning with dual meets on January 11th and 12th against Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran and culminating at the NWC Championships on February 7-10 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington.
